Checking the preparation work for the implementation of the Project to pilot the walking street in Phan Rang-Thap Cham City

On the evening of April 22, comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the preparations for the implementation of the Project to pilot the pedestrian street in Phan Rang-Thap Cham City. Accompanying her was comrade Chau Thi Thanh Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Phan Rang-Thap Cham City Party Committee.

When inspecting the walking street, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee acknowledged the efforts of the People's Committee of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City in completing the infrastructure upgrade, coordinating with departments, branches and businesses to prepare booths and art programs for the walking street. In particular, the floating water music project in the center of April 16th Park is arranged in accordance with the open space, creating an artistic highlight for the walking street.

He suggested that the People's Committee of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City increase the amount of water in the regulating lake to push the water music stage up high for people to enjoy; proactively design the performance content of the water music program to be rich, according to each theme to create excitement for people and tourists. It is necessary to add a lighting system, ensure security and order, fire prevention and safety. Coordinate with departments and branches to provide initial support for businesses participating in displaying and selling OCOP products, focusing on the quality and diversity of products. Food stalls need to prioritize ensuring food hygiene and safety; pay attention to the processing demonstration, service style, and arrange a typical culinary area of Ninh Thuan for tourists to experience. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism invites artisans to perform traditional folk music instruments, street artists and proactively cooperate with provinces to organize cultural and artistic programs to create a vibrant atmosphere to attract tourists. Strengthen information and propaganda work so that people know how to participate in the walking street.
