Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hung Nhon Group, believes that the private economic sector will become the locomotive of development.

Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hung Nhon Group, said that the Resolution on private economic development that has just been issued has created an important premise for the Vietnamese business community; especially in the current context of deep integration. According to Mr. Vu Manh Hung, in the draft documents of the 14th National Congress, the orientation to make the private economy one of the important driving forces of the economy is clearly affirmed. "We feel both pressure and pride when the Party and the State place their trust in and orient the private economic sector to become the locomotive of development," Mr. Vu Manh Hung shared.

The corporations wish to continue to accompany the Government and Tay Ninh provincial authorities in promoting local economic growth, spreading the sustainable development model to other regions. Currently, enterprises are promoting chain linkages, creating a premise to attract foreign investment (FDI) and cooperate with large corporations in the field of high-tech agriculture .

Mr. Vu Manh Hung hopes that Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on "breakthrough in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation" will soon come into effect, creating a favorable policy corridor for the Vietnamese business community and international investors to develop together.

Regarding green economy, Hung Nhon Group and its partner De Heus Group (Kingdom of the Netherlands) have cooperated to implement 10 years ago. On September 9, 2017, the enterprise exported the first batch of chickens through Long An International Port - marking the pioneering step of the Vietnamese livestock industry in the green production chain. Up to now, the enterprise continues to form a closed chain including: slaughterhouse, animal feed factory and breeding production area; aiming to develop a sustainable agricultural value chain in the period 2030 - 2050. Hung Nhon Group has been granted GlobalGAP certificate with 346 criteria, affirming international standards in the production process.

According to Mr. Vu Manh Hung, in many countries, the circular economic model and green economy have been developed for a long time. Vietnam is gradually approaching and moving in that direction. Although most domestic enterprises have only met VietGAP standards, with the support of the government and international investors, Vietnam's green economy will certainly develop more strongly.

Mr. Nguyen Tran Hoang Phuong, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Province Tourism Association, pledged to accompany the locality in building and developing green, friendly and attractive tourism.

In the tourism sector, Mr. Nguyen Tran Hoang Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial Tourism Association, said that the time when the 14th National Party Congress is approaching is a special occasion for the business community to demonstrate its role and responsibility in giving opinions and proposing orientations and solutions for socio-economic development. Businesses in the tourism industry are committed to accompanying Tay Ninh province in building and developing green, friendly and attractive tourism, worthy of being a potential destination for the region and the whole country; at the same time, focusing on supporting people to develop typical products and community tourism models, bringing benefits to all four "houses": farmers - producers - businesses - the State.

Mr. Nguyen Tran Hoang Phuong emphasized that the business community hopes to continue receiving support from management agencies, especially in supporting small and medium enterprises - an important force of the private economy.

In addition, businesses expect policies on public-private partnerships, credit, tax incentives and administrative procedures to be implemented more synchronously and effectively, helping businesses feel secure in investing and expanding production and business.

In addition, Mr. Nguyen Tran Hoang Phuong suggested that there should be more flexible and practical policies to promote sustainable tourism, encourage creativity in product development and promote local images. “We focus on the 'on-site tourism' model - both welcoming guests and combining consumption of local specialties. If supported in communication and promotion, the image of Tay Ninh tourism will spread more strongly,” Mr. Nguyen Tran Hoang Phuong shared.

Create conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to compete equally

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam, General Director of Southern Oil and Chemicals Company, proposed reforming fire prevention and fighting procedures to reduce costs, create conditions for technological innovation, and enhance competitiveness.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam, General Director of Southern Oil and Chemicals Company, suggested that it is necessary to strongly reform administrative procedures in the field of fire prevention and fighting to reduce the cost burden for businesses. Currently, procedures on fire prevention and fighting are quite complicated, causing infrastructure investment costs to increase. Many businesses have to concentrate capital on building facilities but no longer have resources to invest in scientific and technological innovation or improving competitiveness. According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam, along with reforming administrative procedures, it is necessary to have a reasonable land use policy to reduce production costs, creating conditions for Vietnamese businesses to compete equally with multi-industry international corporations.

The enthusiastic and responsible opinions of the business community not only demonstrate their trust and support for the Party in the process of formulating policies and strategies, but also contribute to concretizing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country. This is also a testament to the spirit of "The Party accompanies businesses - businesses join hands with the Party" on the journey to build and develop a strong and sustainable Vietnam.
