What did 'The Romantic Unicorn' Duong Edward say when he had to appear on The Masked Singer?

Singer Duong Edward has just released the MV "Love You" , a composition by musician Khac Viet. This is the song that the male singer performed on The Masked Singer Vietnam - Masked Singer season 2 after appearing with the mascot Ky Lan Lang Tu.

Talking about stopping at the show, Duong Edward humorously said: "When I stopped at the show, I only regretted a little bit because the new mascot in the reveal episode had just been changed by the production crew immediately. The hairstyle of the Romantic Unicorn was changed to be unique, colorful and more attractive. It's just a pity that I had to reveal it right after I got to wear it."

Explaining about “losing 150 million USD” in the program’s suggested videos , Duong Edward said that 150 million is 150 million views that he personally deleted from his YouTube channel with 3 famous videos.

Those are the covers of Unrequited Love (nearly 100 million views), Rain on Love (over 30 million views) and Love in the Rain (over 30 million views).

The male singer said that deleting these 3 videos himself left him with many regrets. The reason he decided to delete those 3 covers was because he wanted to protect himself and the respect he had for the original.

Edward Duong appeared in episode 9 of "The Masked Singer" season 2.

Sharing about his new product, "Love you", the male singer revealed that the song was adjusted by musician Khac Viet to best suit Duong Edward's voice. The song talks about a boy's romantic feelings for a girl, but in the end, that love, although beautiful, still did not have a happy ending.

After Loving You , Duong Edward and his team will complete his debut album. The album will still be his forte, "tailored" for the special voice of Ky Lan Lang Tu.

Duong Edward was born in 1992 and became known to the public when he finished in the Top 5 of Vietnam Idol 2016. He covered many international and domestic songs such as I'm yours, Price tag, Rain on love, Unrequited Love,... attracting tens of millions of views on YouTube.

In 2019, Duong Edward released the project Khuc hoa tinh (Love Melody) consisting of 12 cover songs with his own personal touch and was warmly received by the audience. However, the cover story has been a controversial topic in the Vietnamese music industry in recent times. Duong Edward also emerged and reached the public thanks to these covers.
