Mr. Do Thanh Hoa, Vice President of the Binh Thuan Tourism Association (former), proposed to establish a group of representatives of the National Tourism Areas on the spot to perform the functions of the Tourism Association in each area. He emphasized the need to focus on developing the international tourist segment, in which Mui Ne National Tourism Area aims to become a classy destination in the region, attracting tourists to relax and experience sea sports . At the same time, Lam Dong tourism industry should form a "tourism triangle" with typical, natural products, associated with exploiting the unique strengths of each region.

According to Mr. Do Thanh Hoa, Vice President of Binh Thuan Tourism Association (former), Lam Dong province currently owns 2 of the 9 national tourist areas of the country, Tuyen Lam Lake and Mui Ne. Both areas have been planned, oriented with long-term development strategies and converge many potentials, unique tourism products, with their own identity. However, up to now, these tourist areas have not attracted large investors, causing the development potential to not be exploited to its full potential.

Delegates at the conference agreed that strengthening regional connectivity, diversifying products and improving the competitiveness of destinations is an urgent requirement. This solution not only helps to effectively exploit the unique tourism potential of each locality, but also forms a common value chain, contributing to bringing sustainable economic benefits and enhancing the tourism brand of the whole region.

Mr. Do Van Mot, Strategy Director of Ong Vang Marketing, said that green tourism is not only a trend but has become a standard and strategic requirement for destinations. Competitiveness in the new era is determined by the ability to create different, sustainable and difficult-to-copy values. To develop in depth, the tourism industry needs to restructure its model towards green transformation, both meeting the needs of domestic and international markets and solving internal limitations such as dependence on natural resources, environmental pressure and ineffective exploitation of indigenous cultural values.
In addition, the conference delegates also proposed a number of potential tourism products that Lam Dong tourism industry can continue to exploit and develop, such as: sea and entertainment tourism; adventure - sports tourism; health care and resort tourism; and tourism combining business and leisure (MICE). These are considered to be suitable directions for market trends, contributing to diversifying products and enhancing the attractiveness of Lam Dong tourism in the new period.

Also in the afternoon of the same day, the provisional Executive Committee of Lam Dong Province Tourism Association was officially launched with 50 members, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa was elected as provisional Chairman.
According to statistics, in the first 9 months of 2025, Lam Dong welcomed more than 15.3 million visitors, an increase of 17.58% over the same period in 2024; including 915,000 international visitors. Total tourism revenue of the whole province reached over 40 trillion VND, affirming the growing attraction of the destination "Blue Sea Lam Dong" on the Vietnam tourism map.

This conference is an opportunity for localities and businesses to exchange and discuss specific solutions to improve product quality, promote and attract domestic and international tourists. At the same time, the event contributes to promoting the model of sustainable tourism development linkage between three regions: blue sea, thousands of flowers and great forests of Lam Dong province, aiming to build typical linkage products and impressive recognition messages for Lam Dong tourism in the new period.
