Phu Quy Special Zone Trade Union promotes its role as a bridge between the Party, government and workers

On October 24, the 1st Congress of the Phu Quy Special Zone Trade Union (Lam Dong), term 2025 - 2030, was held in an atmosphere of solidarity, democracy and responsibility. This is an important political activity for cadres, union members and workers in the entire special zone.

Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Ho Cong Duong, Permanent Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation and 50 delegates representing all union members and workers throughout Phu Quy special zone.

Phu Quy Special Zone Trade Union was reorganized and merged according to the policy of streamlining the apparatus, in accordance with the requirements of operational innovation in the current period.

Currently, the unit directly manages and directs 8 grassroots unions and 2 trade unions with a total of 381 workers, civil servants and employees, including 126 female union members.

Besides, in the area there are more than 500 freelance workers working in the fields of construction, trade, services, tourism ... who have not joined the union.

Previously, on October 23, Duc Linh Commune Trade Union held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030, with the participation of 97 delegates, representing all cadres, union members and workers in the area.

After the Phu Quy Special Zone Trade Union Congress, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation will continue to direct the organization of congresses at 5 commune and ward trade unions including: La Gi, Ham Thang, Phan Thiet, Lien Huong and Ham Kiem.

Comrade Ho Cong Duong, Permanent Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, said: The Provincial Labor Federation is actively directing the congresses of grassroots trade unions and commune and ward trade unions with the goal of staying close to the grassroots and reaching out to workers.

Trade unions need to practically care for and look after the legitimate interests of union members and workers; use their interests, satisfaction and level of participation as a measure of operational efficiency, thereby strengthening solidarity and attracting workers to the trade union.
