The female army is enthusiastically practicing to prepare for the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
According to Mr. Vo Ho Hoang Vu, Chief of Office of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, the celebration, parade, and march on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) is an event that people are looking forward to. This is also a particularly important political event, on a national scale.
The celebration, parade, and march will be held from 6:30 a.m. on April 30 in the city center. According to the overall plan for activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day approved by the Central Steering Committee, the celebration will take place in the central area of District 1, with the main stage located in front of the Reunification Hall.
For the parade, the forces will depart from the intersection of Le Duan - Nguyen Binh Khiem streets, moving through the main stage in front of the Reunification Hall. At the end of this schedule, the forces will split into 4 directions, moving to the assembly point. Moving in 4 directions will help people to follow the parade, while avoiding congestion when many forces move in one direction.
Specifically, for direction 1, after passing the Reunification Hall, the forces will move along the route of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Le Loi - Nguyen Thi Nghia - Phu Dong Thien Vuong 6-way intersection - Cach Mang Thang 8. The forces in this direction will gather at Tao Dan Park.
Direction 2, after passing the Reunification Hall, the forces moved in the direction of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Le Thanh Ton - Nguyen Hue - Me Linh roundabout. The forces in this direction gathered at Bach Dang Wharf.
Direction 3, after passing the Reunification Hall, the forces moved along the route of Le Duan - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Nguyen Dinh Chieu - Dinh Tien Hoang. The forces in this direction gathered at Hoa Lu Stadium.
Direction 4, after passing the Reunification Hall, the forces moved along the route of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Hai Ba Trung. The forces in this direction gathered at Le Van Tam Park.
In addition to watching live on the street, people attending the celebration in the central area can watch the parade through 20 large screens. Of which, 6 screens are arranged on Le Duan Street, 3 screens on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, 3 screens on Le Loi Street, 2 screens on Nguyen Hue Street, 2 screens on Dong Khoi Street, 2 screens on Dien Bien Phu Street and 2 screens on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street.
People can also follow the celebration, parade, and march on television and social media platforms.
Mr. Vo Ho Hoang Vu also recommended that people limit the use of personal vehicles and prioritize the use of public transport to get to locations participating in celebrations, parades, and marches to avoid overloading and lack of parking space when large crowds gather at the same time.
