For the first time, a Vietnamese university has become an international partner of the University of London.

There are very few schools in the world that are recognised as international partners by the University of London, one of the world's leading universities and one of the oldest in the UK.

Many member schools of the University of London are ranked in the Russell Group (an alliance of the most prestigious and prestigious universities in the UK, known for their teaching quality and global academic influence). This is the first time that a Vietnamese university has become an international partner of the University of London.

Currently, BUV is the only university in Vietnam to implement an international standard bachelor's program and an international foundation program (IFP) awarded by the University of London.

Becoming an international partner not only affirms BUV's academic position, but also opens up opportunities for extensive cooperation, contributing to spreading globaleducational values, nurturing a generation of students who are brave, open-minded and ready to integrate.

From the position of a recognized training center, BUV has been upgraded to become one of the few international partners of the University of London, affirming the academic quality, international reputation and development potential of the school. Professor Wendy Thomson, Principal of the University of London emphasized: “This title is a testament to our long-term commitment to close cooperation with the British University Vietnam, constantly developing the partnership and working towards the common goal of excellent educational quality”.

Professor Raymond Gordon, President of BUV said: “BUV is honored to become one of the few international partners in the global network of the University of London. This title is not only a recognition of the school's training quality and academic reputation, but also an important step that brings us closer to the goal of becoming a leading international university in Vietnam and the region. BUV is committed to continuing to accompany the University of London in developing training programs, expanding learning opportunities and promoting bilateral educational cooperation between the UK and Vietnam.”

In this spirit, the University of London and BUV held a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding affirming their commitment to the goal of sustainable education development, witnessed by British Ambassador to Vietnam Iain Frew.
