Speaking at a press conference on October 30, 2024, Mr. Nguyen Kim Khiem, General Director of Hanoi Radio and Television Station, said, "Hanoi Singing Contest 2024" will continue to inherit and develop strengths in expertise, talent, and aesthetic values in music, creating opportunities for potential singers who love to sing to confidently shine, showcase their strengths and vocal talents, thereby contributing to enriching and developing the cultural and artistic life of the capital city.
The Hanoi Singing Contest 2023 was a resounding success, leaving a strong impression on many viewers.
According to Mr. Nguyen Kim Khiem, one of the differences compared to previous years is that for contestants who win high prizes in this year's competition and demonstrate their potential and talent, the Organizing Committee will support and create conditions to promote performance programs so that contestants can create their own musical products. In addition, they will receive professional support, programs, and other conditions that every artist needs in their artistic career.
At the same time, Mr. Khiem also emphasized the investment in scale and scope of this competition, especially the adjustment of the prize structure to attractive prizes worth hundreds of millions of VND, specifically: 1 special prize; 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 3 third prizes for 3 music genres (classical, folk, and light music) and 5 thematic prizes.

The Hanoi Voice (formerly known as the Hanoi Television Voice) is one of the first vocal competitions in the country, first organized by Hanoi Radio and Television in 1994 and held every two years. According to the organizers, this year's entries are selected based on three musical performance styles: Classical Chamber Music, Folk Music, and Pop Music, focusing on songs about Hanoi, especially those related to the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital.

Registration period: From October 1st to November 19th, 2024.
Preliminary Round 1: From November 15th to November 19th, 2024.
Preliminary Round 2: From November 22nd to 25th, 2024.
Semi-finals: From December 12th to 15th, 2024.
