Although many tourists visit craft villages, craft village tourism in Quang Ngai has not yet fully exploited its potential and advantages. Some craft villages face numerous difficulties. According to the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nguyen Tien Dung, localities need mechanisms to encourage the development of craft village tourism, while also planning and developing these villages. Craft village tourism should not only focus on sightseeing and shopping, but also provide opportunities for relaxation, recreation, and entertainment. All of this must be part of a comprehensive plan; otherwise, craft villages will find it very difficult to attract tourists.
