Continuing to promote the success of previous organizations, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front coordinated with the Vietnam Journalists Association to launch the 16th "For the Cause of Great National Unity" Press Award, 2023 - 2024.
After 2 years of implementation, as of July 31, 2024, the Organizing Committee of the award has received 2,135 valid entries, from 5 types of press: print, electronic, radio, television and press photos from over 100 press agencies at the central and local levels. These are works that are considered impressive, outstanding for their valuable discoveries and ideas, conveying to society and the community highly constructive messages, contributing to encouraging and promoting the strength of solidarity and creativity among the people, for the common goal of building and consolidating the great national unity bloc.
At the award ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 A prizes, 14 B prizes, 29 C prizes; 42 consolation prizes for outstanding press works in various press categories. Of which, Lang Son province had 1 work "Devoting land to build the future" in 3 episodes, radio format, by authors Luong Thi Lan Anh and Hua Lam Ngoc Thu, Provincial Radio and Television Station, won the consolation prize.
This is a practical activity towards the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024). At the same time, it aims to honor authors, groups of authors, and excellent press works participating in promoting the cause of great national unity and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, contributing to encouraging and motivating press agencies and journalists.
The work "Donating land to build the future" is 3 parts long, including: part I - "Chi Minh's poor land"; part II - "Good mass mobilization to solve difficult problems"; part III - "Giving away many inches of land, wonderful things remain"; broadcast on November 21, 22, 23, 2023 on the radio of the Provincial Radio and Television Station. The main content of the work reflects a bright spot in the province's land donation movement, which is Chi Minh commune, Trang Dinh district. A safe zone commune, especially difficult. Thanks to the skillful mass mobilization work of the Party Committee and government, although life is still very difficult, the people here have actively and unanimously donated land for future generations and the development of their homeland. |
