Lang Son maintains its ranking in the Top 30 localities with the best governance quality in 2024

With a total score of 69.01 points, down 0.4 points compared to 2023 (in 2023, Lang Son ranked 13th with a total score of 69.05 points), Lang Son province rose to 2nd place in the northern mountainous provinces, up 1 place compared to 2023 and only behind Bac Giang province.

Of the 10 component indices, in 2024, Lang Son province has 4 indices that increased in points compared to 2023, including: Market entry (up 0.68 points), Transparency (up 1.9 points), Informal costs (up 0.25 points), Business support policies (up 0.49 points).

The indicators that decreased in score include: land access, time costs, fair competition, government dynamism, labor training and security institutions.

The above results have shown that, in recent times, the People's Committee of Lang Son province has focused on directing departments, branches, agencies and units to actively and proactively deploy synchronous practical solutions, strongly reform administrative procedures associated with enhancing the application of information technology.

The province has implemented specific measures to remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses; promptly resolved written recommendations and proposals from businesses; investment attraction, business development, and the business investment environment in the province have been significantly improved.

Currently, Lang Son province is promoting the construction of a transparent, honest, active, creative, serving, and effective government, which is associated with enhancing the responsibility of leaders and staff, civil servants, and public employees.

Digital transformation is also being implemented comprehensively and extensively in all fields to create a favorable, open and transparent space for investors and businesses.

Lang Son province has established 4 special working groups headed by provincial leaders to resolutely and closely direct construction investment projects, ensuring progress and investment efficiency in the area. Promoting the effectiveness of these 4 special working groups has contributed to facilitating investment projects in the province, improving the investment and business environment in the locality.
