Expanding the investigation, the Provincial Police Investigation Agency arrested Hoang Van Hieu (born in 2000), residing in Van Lang district, and Nguyen Thi Minh (born in 1970), Tran Van Thanh (born in 1976), both residing in Cao Loc district, for illegal drug trafficking. During the arrest and emergency search, the police seized 0.428 grams of heroin, 3 motorbikes, 5 phones, 800,000 VND and some related evidence.
On the same day, the working group of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department coordinated with Tan Thanh Commune Police and local authorities to identify a shack on the road to Tan Thanh border gate, in slope 2 area, Tan Thanh Commune, Van Lang District, conducted an inspection, discovered and arrested Hoang Van Truong (born in 1985), Phan Thanh Hieu (born in 1998), Nguyen Dinh Huy (born in 1992), all residing in Van Lang District, for organizing illegal use of drugs; seized evidence included 1 bag of synthetic drugs (crystal meth, horse), 4 mobile phones, 1 set of drug use tools and some related evidence. Expanding the investigation, the Provincial Police Investigation Agency pursued and arrested Nong Viet Anh (born in 1990, residing in Van Lang District) for illegal drug trafficking. Through rapid testing, all 4 subjects tested positive for drugs.
Previously, on March 12, the working group of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department coordinated with Tam Thanh Ward Police to discover and arrest Hoang The Duy (born in 1991), Hoang Duy Thanh (born in 1986), both residing in Cao Loc District, and Ca Phi Long (born in 1989, residing in Lang Son City) for organizing illegal drug use; seized evidence included 1 nylon bag containing crystal meth, horses, 3 mobile phones, 1 set of drug use tools and some related evidence. At the police station, the subjects confessed to all their crimes and through rapid testing, all 3 subjects tested positive for MET.
In addition, during this time, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department presided over and coordinated the arrest of 3 more cases and 11 subjects for the acts of buying, selling, and organizing illegal use of drugs.
Thus, in a short time, with a determined and proactive spirit, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, the Provincial Police, has used synchronous professional measures, coordinated, fought to eradicate and arrest subjects, not allowing the formation of "hot spots" of illegal drug buying, selling and organizing, contributing to ensuring security and order in the area.
