On April 15, 2024, at the citizen reception point of the Ministry of Public Security , No. 99 Nguyen Tuan, Thanh Xuan Trung Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi City, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, had a regular citizen reception in April 2024.
Also attending the citizen reception were Major General Ta Quang Huy, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Public Security; Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee...
At the citizen reception, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang listened to people present their complaints and reflections on problems sent to State agencies but not yet handled or not properly resolved, and there was no written response to citizens' petitions...
Sharing the difficulties that people are facing, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang discussed and reviewed each petition, received the petition and assigned the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Public Security to issue a document requesting the Heads of Public Security of competent units and localities to resolve it, report to the Ministry's leaders and respond to citizens in accordance with legal regulations. For complaints and denunciations that are not under the responsibility of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang instructed citizens to send petitions to competent authorities for consideration and resolution in accordance with regulations. At the meeting, individuals with petitions and denunciations thanked Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang for taking the time to listen, guide and direct functional units in receiving, resolving and handling citizens' opinions in a timely and proper manner.
