Quang Tri provincial leaders offer incense and flowers to pay tribute to heroic martyrs

This morning, July 24, on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27 (1947 - 2024), the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province solemnly held a ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, Road 9 and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel. Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Quang Tung; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung; Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province Dao Manh Hung; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, and armed forces attended.

Politburo members: President To Lam; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat Luong Cuong sent wreaths to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs.

At the Truong Son and Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemeteries, provincial leaders and delegates solemnly laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate the great contributions of heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed their lives to gain independence and freedom for the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people.

The noble sacrifices of the heroic martyrs have created heroic and indomitable feats; are the pride of the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people, contributingto educating the tradition of indomitable struggle for today's and future generations.

Laying wreaths and offering incense to the heroic martyrs at the Central Monument of Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, the provincial leaders and delegates expressed their deep gratitude for the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs who devoted their youth to protecting Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, contributing to gaining independence and freedom for the Fatherland.

The blood and bones of those who were shed will become immortal for today's generations to continue to devote themselves to building the homeland and country to become more prosperous and beautiful.
