Establish a team to assess the safety records of Nhon Metro line

The overall progress of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway line has reached 77.76% so far.

The appraisal team has 9 members led by Mr. Duong Hong Anh, Deputy Director of Vietnam Railway Authority.

The team is responsible for conducting the safety assessment of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station project system under the responsibility of the Vietnam Railway Authority according to the provisions of law.

At the same time, appraise the certification organization's system safety assessment report on contents related to information and signaling systems on vehicles and on roads; traction power supply system, platform barrier doors (if any); system integration assessment, operational testing assessment, system trial run, operational safety management system assessment; passenger evacuation plan in case of emergency...

At the same time, synthesize the notices and appraisal reports of the Department of Construction Investment Management, the Vietnam Register and the appraisal results of the appraisal team to advise the Director of the Vietnam Railway Authority to consider and issue certificates of appraisal of safety records of urban railway systems according to regulations.

According to the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board (MRB), the overall progress of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway line has so far reached 77.76% (construction progress of the elevated section has reached 99.65%, the underground section has reached 37.25%).

Mr. Nguyen Cao Minh, Head of MRB, said that the trial operation of the elevated section of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station line will be completed by the end of April 2024.

By the end of June 2024, the system safety certification and acceptance inspection by the investor and state management agencies will be completed to hand over to Hanoi Railway One Member Co., Ltd. for commercial operation.

Currently, 50 train drivers of Hanoi Railway One Member Co., Ltd. have been summoned for final operational training under the guidance of Systra consultants.
