Launching ceremony of the program Bringing livelihoods to people in flood-hit areas of Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces

On the morning of October 4, at Binh Dien Ninh Binh Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (Khanh Phu Industrial Park, Yen Khanh), the launching ceremony of the program "Bringing livelihoods to people in storm-flood areas" in Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces in 2024 took place.

This is a program jointly organized by Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company and its member units in coordination with Nong Thon Ngay Nay Newspaper/Dan Viet Newspaper); Department of Crop Production ( Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development ), with the goal of providing timely support to farming households in Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces that suffered heavy losses in the recent storms and floods, helping people quickly restore agricultural production after natural disasters .

The program supports 5.2 tons of hybrid corn seeds CS71, LVN66; 390 tons of Dau Trau fertilizer, converted into 1,650 livelihood packages, with a total value of 3 billion VND. The livelihood packages will be given to 1,400 households in Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province and 600 households in Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province. Each livelihood package given to a farming household is worth 2.3 million VND, including: 4kg of corn seeds; 100kg of Dau Trau organic fertilizer MK N.7; 100kg of Dau Trau NPK 5-10-3 fertilizer and 100kg of Dau Trau NPK 12-5-10 fertilizer. With this support package, farmers can use the entire package for 2,000m2 of cultivated land.

Delegates cut the ribbon to launch the program "Bringing livelihoods to people in storm-flood areas" in Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces in 2024.

This program, in addition to supporting agricultural materials, also helps improve farmers' knowledge of plant care through technical training sessions.

At the program, a representative of Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company presented a symbolic support package worth 3 billion VND to a representative of Nong Thon Ngay Nay Newspaper to give to people in storm and flood areas.

Immediately after the ribbon-cutting ceremony to launch the program, vehicles carrying agricultural support materials departed for Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces. As planned, the program organizers will hand out livelihood packages to people over 3 days from October 5 to October 7, 2024.

Through the program, we aim to spread profound human values of solidarity, sharing, encouragement and strength to help people overcome difficulties, quickly restore production and stabilize their lives.
