In Vietnam, in recent years, traffic accidents have been controlled and reduced in terms of the number of cases, deaths and injuries. However, in the first 10 months of 2024, there were 19,711 traffic accidents nationwide, killing 9,061 people and injuring 14,685 people.

For Bac Kan province, the work of ensuring traffic order and safety in recent years has received special attention from all levels and sectors. However, traffic accidents still occur at a high rate, in just 10 months of 2024, there were 67 traffic accidents in the province, killing 18 people and injuring 76 people.

The consequences of traffic accidents not only leave pain for victims and their loved ones, but also pose a risk of poverty and a burden to families and society. More painfully, behind the deaths caused by traffic accidents are broken families; young children lose their fathers and mothers, and the elderly lose a place to rely on in their final years.

To share the pain and loss, at the Ceremony, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee presented 6 gifts to the families of victims who died in traffic accidents.
