Details of the 2023 high school graduation exam schedule are as follows:
According to the plan, the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 18. The recognition of high school graduation will be completed no later than July 20. The Departments of Education and Training will announce the high school graduation results no later than July 22.
Printing and sending of exam result certificates to candidates must be completed by July 24 at the latest.
Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management (Ministry of Education and Training), said that the 2023 high school graduation exam will basically remain stable in the same direction as in 2022. 75% of the exam will focus on questions at the level of recognition and understanding. This means that students who have studied basic high school knowledge well, especially in grade 12, can do well on 75% of these questions.
This is also the best basis for evaluating results and considering high school graduation. The remaining 25% are questions at the application and high application levels, so that candidates can achieve scores of 8, 9, and 10.
"This is the basis for classifying students, one of the bases for schools to consider university admissions," said Mr. Chuong. According to Mr. Chuong, candidates need to carefully study the reference exam questions that the Ministry of Education and Training has announced to clearly see this.
On the morning of June 13, the Ministry of Education and Training worked with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on preparations for the 2023 high school graduation exam. According to the report of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, this year, the city has more than 97,000 candidates taking the high school graduation exam, including 85,452 high school candidates; 9,194 continuing education candidates and 2,791 independent candidates.
Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son noted that the equipment used to print and copy the 2023 high school graduation exam must be good enough to avoid situations like the 10th grade exam in Hanoi , where just one blurred detail caused misunderstandings.
Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son said that Ho Chi Minh City has identified the importance of the upcoming high school graduation exam and has established a steering committee to prepare for it.
In addition, the city has just organized the 10th grade exam with the same number of candidates as the high school graduation exam, the two exams are close together, the city has applied regulations, processes, and stages according to the regulations. This is a good way, convenient for training so that the forces can get familiar with the work.
Mr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, also noted that regarding the issue of grading multiple-choice tests in the Ho Chi Minh City exam cluster, the number of candidates who have to manually enter the test code must be minimized.
The reason is that when taking the test, candidates fill in the wrong code, so the examination council must remind the invigilators to guide candidates to fill in correctly and completely, to avoid wrong code.
The printing of the exam papers is top secret, but the exam papers are clear because even a single dash like the Hanoi 10th grade exam papers can cause students to misunderstand. During the exam, the exam sites limit candidates from leaving early, especially for combined subjects. Candidates who leave early will have to sit in the waiting room...
