Vietnamese stars are called out
Since the evening of September 12, more than 12,000 statements made public by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front have received great attention on social networks. Up to now, the online community is still tirelessly searching for transactions of celebrities, artists, and TikTokers who have publicly supported before.
The online community used the phrase "check VAR" to look up the list of more than 12,000 pages. Many Vietnamese stars, KOLs, famous players, businessmen... were also named after the audience found the amount of money they donated in the statement. Many tragicomic situations also received a lot of interactions.
Tien Luat sad
On September 13, a fan-run fanpage with over 45,000 followers supporting the show "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" was accused of misrepresenting the amount of charity money. The representative of this page announced that it had donated 20 million VND but in fact only transferred about 200,000 VND.
This action affected the positive image that the 33 artists and their fans had built over the past months. The "talents" also just donated more than 230 million VND to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
On his personal page, Tien Luat said he was "sad, very sad". Later, the administrator of this fanpage apologized for donating 200 thousand but editing it to 20 million VND, changing the individual name to the group of fans of the program, affecting the reputation of others.
Diep Lam Anh supports Yen Bai people
On her personal page, Diep Lam Anh said that she took a flight to Noi Bai airport and traveled to Yen Bai with a group of friends. The female singer shared: "More than 1,000 gifts have been delivered to the people in villages and communes that were heavily damaged by storms and floods. After 48 hours of landing in Hanoi , we slept for a few hours, the rest of the group stayed up almost all night to distribute each gift in full, to help reduce the workload of the staff.
Living a meaningful life means always thinking, acting, and reacting positively to everything in life. Today, I am not rich but I dare to give what I have. I am not strong but I can contribute my enthusiasm. Heading to the North with all my heart."
Xuan Lan gives her opinion
On her personal page, supermodel Xuan Lan posted: "If you don't have the heart to do charity, then forget it. Artists have already been criticized for being sensitive. How can you make a joke of the pain of your fellow countrymen?"
Xuan Lan's sharing attracted attention at a time when some Vietnamese stars were involved in scandals because of charity but "pretending" and arranging things to polish their names.
Duy Manh and Tuan Hung were sponsored with 3 billion VND in support.
On his personal page, singer Tuan Hung shared that the organizers of the live show "Doc Mong Mo Duy Manh and Tuan Hung" donated 3 billion VND to support people affected by storm No. 3 to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The male singer wrote: "Now just focus on singing, Mr. Manh. Report that all procedures to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front have been completed."
Tuan Hung also shared that he has donated 100 million VND to the people and promised to donate 50% of the show's revenue from now until the end of the year to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
