“The Promise” is the continuation of Nguyen Ngoc Anh’s albums after a 9-year hiatus. Previously, this soulful voice made its mark with albums in collaboration with talented musicians: Do Bao (“Wonderful World ” - 2007, “Late Blooming Flower” - 2011) and Pham Hai Au (“From the Heart” - 2016).

In this 4th album, Nguyen Ngoc Anh did not choose a musician or a music genre to perform, but instead combined many musicians with diverse music styles, from Rock to R&B, Ballad, Retro, City Pop... The album has 8 songs, including 3 songs by musician Ho Hoai Anh: "Khe lai do dang", "Dong sang di mong" and "3 meters tren bau troi". Nguyen Ngoc Anh chose "Khe lai do dang" to make the MV, released more than 1 month ago, creating quite a good effect.

The remaining songs in “The Promise” include: “Building a Dream” and “Coming to You” (composer Pham Thanh Ha), “The Last Waltz” by Hekii - Nguyen Bao Ngoc, “A Person Not for Himself” by Zen and the theme song “The Promise” composed by her husband, musician To Minh Duc.

The album brings the audience special experiences. First, it is the return of musician Ho Hoai Anh with 3 songs bearing 3 very unique musical marks. Notably, the song "3 meters in the sky" was inspired by a movie, with catchy, modern melody and lyrics. Besides his beautiful and powerful voice, Nguyen Ngoc Anh also has successful duets in this album. The best one is the song "Dong sang dich mong", sung with singer Tung Duong. One is gentle and emotional; the other is passionate and climax. The two combine to tell a love story through music that is worth listening to. As musician Ho Hoai Anh said, this is a "difficult song", two voices with different energy, blended by the technique of slowing down the climax to make room for emotion.

Musician To Minh Duc is not only Nguyen Ngoc Anh’s life partner but also his music “coach” and in this album, the two duet “Xay mong” to create a harmonious and harmonious love song. Young musician Pham Thanh Ha, who has been successful with many famous songs such as “Tinh yeu mau nang”, “Dua nhau di tro”, “Bua yeu”… continues to create highlights through 2 songs in this album. Pham Thanh Ha’s music is different, creative with a characteristic lyrical quality.

After more than 2 decades of singing, Nguyen Ngoc Anh is still the same, she doesn’t chase after achievements or quantity, but sings from the heart.

Singer Nguyen Ngoc Anh was born in 1981, from Quang Ninh province. Nguyen Ngoc Anh won the Gold Medal of the National Voice Contest in 1999, and the Third Prize of the Hanoi Young Voice in 2001. In particular, she became known and loved by many people after winning the Second Prize of the Sao Mai Contest in 2005, in the light music genre. A year later, the Dat Mo singer entered the top 5 of the Sao Mai Rendezvous Contest in 2006.
