High profits, fertilizer and aviation businesses increase their after-tax profit targets for the whole year

With favorable business conditions, some businesses have sharply increased their after-tax profit targets for the whole year of 2025. Ca Mau Fertilizer even increased by 87% compared to the original plan.

Ca Mau Fertilizer increased its after-tax profit target by 87%.

At the end of the third quarter of 2025, the latest data shows that many listed enterprises have begun to complete their business targets set for the whole year at the annual general meeting of shareholders.

Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (Ca Mau Fertilizer) recorded nearly VND 12,921 billion in total revenue after 9 months, up 35.2% over the same period. After deducting expenses and taxes, profit after tax reached nearly VND 1,527 billion, up 44.7% over the same period in 2024.

At the 2025 annual general meeting of shareholders, Ca Mau Fertilizer set a target of total revenue of VND13,983 billion and profit after tax of VND774 billion. Thus, the company has completed 92.4% of revenue and exceeded 97% of profit.

The newly announced Board of Directors resolution shows that the company has decided to adjust its business plan for the whole year 2025. The total revenue target is raised to VND 15,863 billion, an increase of 13% compared to the old plan. Profit after tax is adjusted to VND 1,448 billion, an increase of 87%.

With the newly adjusted plan, the company achieved 78% of its revenue target, exceeding the year's profit by 5% after only 9 months.

In addition, Ca Mau Fertilizer adjusted its investment targets. The total capital investment demand for basic construction and purchase of assets and equipment was reduced from VND771 billion to VND498 billion, equivalent to a 35% decrease. The investment capital source includes VND250 billion in equity and VND248 billion in loans and other capital.

The company set a rather cautious target for 2026. Total revenue is expected to be over VND17,615 billion, up 11% compared to the new 2025 plan. Profit is VND1,182 billion, down 18.3% compared to the adjusted target for 2025.

VPS, Noi Bai Cargo Service boldly increase targets

In the context of the stock market boom in the third quarter of 2025, VPS Securities Joint Stock Company recorded operating revenue of VND 5,900 billion after 9 months, an increase of nearly 20% over the same period. Profit after tax was VND 2,564 billion, 1.5 times higher than the same period in 2024.

At the 2025 annual general meeting of shareholders, the company set a target of VND8,500 billion in net revenue and VND2,800 billion in after-tax profit. Thus, the company has achieved 91.6% of the initial profit target.

This securities company has also adjusted its revenue plan to VND8,800 billion (up 3%) and VND4,375 billion in profit (up 25%). Compared with the adjusted target, VPS completed 58.6% of the profit target after 9 months.

Recently, the company completed the IPO of 202.3 million shares, raising VND12,138 billion from investors. Charter capital increased from VND12,800 billion to VND14,823 billion. Owner's equity reached about VND26,000 billion. VPX shares of the enterprise will be officially listed on HoSE on December 11.

For Noi Bai Cargo Services Joint Stock Company, revenue after 9 months reached more than VND 839 billion, an increase of 30.4% over the same period in 2024. After deducting expenses, profit after tax was more than VND 264 billion, an increase of 39.5%.

The company said the positive business results were thanks to GDP growth in the first 9 months of the year increasing by 7.85% compared to the same period last year. The volume of goods passing through Noi Bai International Airport in general and the volume of goods the company served in particular both grew well compared to the same period in 2024.

In June 2025, the company set a target of VND1,006 billion in revenue for the whole year of 2025 and VND271.2 billion in after-tax profit. Thus, Noi Bai Cargo Services achieved 97.3% of the profit target set at the annual general meeting of shareholders after 9 months.

Recently, the company adjusted its revenue target to VND1,156 billion, up 14.9% compared to the original. Profit after tax was raised to VND331.6 billion, up 22.3%. The completion rate of the profit after tax target reached 79.6% compared to the new plan.
