Long An strengthens inspection and handling of violations in gold trading activities

Accordingly, from April 5 to April 17, Long An Market Management Department inspected the compliance with the law in business activities of 20 gold trading enterprises in the province.

Thereby, 19 enterprises were found to have committed violations such as: Trading in goods with labels that do not fully contain the required content on the goods label according to the nature of the goods as prescribed by law on goods labeling; not ensuring the prescribed conditions for persons with related rights and obligations to supervise and inspect the implementation of measurements, measurement methods, measuring instruments, quantity of goods and services; not fully displaying on the signboard the name of the direct management agency, the name of the production and business establishment in accordance with the business registration certificate or enterprise registration certificate, address, telephone number; not posting the price of goods (gold) at the business location.

Long An Market Management Force fined administrative violations, collected 115 million VND for the state budget.

In the coming time, the Long An Market Management Department will continue to direct the Market Management Teams to strengthen the management of the area, grasp the situation of gold trading activities in the management area, promptly detect and strictly handle violations./.
