Billion-dollar Maserati MC20 and GT2 Stradale serve GT World Challenge Europe

The high-performance Maserati GT2 Stradale and the MC20 supercar have been assigned safety and lead car duties for the first time in the GT World Challenge Europe 2025 race.

At the GT World Challenge Europe 2025 race, the high-performance Maserati GT2 Stradale supercar will take on the role of Safety Car, while the MC20 is selected as the Leading Car.

This is a collaboration between the Modena brand and SRO Motorsports Group. The Maserati MC20 supercar will be in charge of regulating the race on the warm-up lap.

Meanwhile, the Maserati GT2 Stradale will be deployed as a safety car whenever unusual situations arise on the track such as accidents, bad weather conditions...

The Maserati GT2 Stradale Safety Car is finished in Nero Pastello black and features roof-mounted indicators, while the MC20 is finished in Bianco Pastello white with contrasting blue/orange accents.

The Maserati MC20 is still equipped with a 3.0L twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine that produces a maximum capacity of 630 horsepower and maximum torque of 730 Nm.

The Maserati GT2 Stradale has a distinctive aerodynamic design, and its power has also been increased to 640 horsepower. Both use an 8-speed gearbox and rear-wheel drive.

In the 2025 season, Maserati also introduced a new upgrade package Endurance Pack for private racing teams, including auxiliary lighting system, reflective numbers, additional sensors, interior UV lighting system...

In the US, the Maserati MC20 starts at $243,000, and goes up to $314,000 for the high-performance GT2 Stradale version. In Vietnam, the MC20 supercar starts at 16 billion VND.
