In addition to the medical staff always on duty to take care of the health and handle cases of sunstroke and heatstroke for officers and soldiers, there are also "beautiful women" next to a cart carrying water and food with the words "Division 309 towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 / April 30, 2025)". This is a practical activity of officers and members of the Women's Union of the division in coordination with logistics staff of the blocks to bring cool glasses of water and snacks to serve the A50 training force.

Officers and soldiers of Division 309 and the training force serving the A50 mission sang together on the training ground. |
Every time it was time for a break, the “training support” vehicle was quickly pushed forward. Glasses of ginseng water, green tea, guava leaves, lemon, black bean tea, southern fruits… along with words of conversation, encouragement, and sharing helped the officers and soldiers feel refreshed, as if all stress and fatigue were relieved.

Women's Union members of Division 309 (Military Region 7) bring fruit to serve officers and soldiers practicing at the unit. |
According to Colonel Hong Viet Bac, Deputy Political Commissar of Division 309, this model was implemented by the division commander and the unit's Women's Union to practically accompany the A50 training force. Because the comrades all came from the North, adapting to the hot and humid weather of the South was difficult; moreover, having to be away from their families for long periods of time and practicing at high intensity had a significant impact on the minds and emotions of the officers and soldiers. A timely glass of cool water not only replenished energy but also reinforced the motivation, honor, and pride of the soldiers enthusiastically practicing to serve the A50 mission.

Captain Tran Thi Hanh, Political Department staff, President of the Division Women's Union, said: "The food and drink of the A50 force has been given close and thoughtful attention by all levels. Therefore, our water carrying has a lot of spiritual meaning with the motto "taking the smiles of women's union members as motivation for training for officers and soldiers", showing the sincere feelings of the Southern unit for the "armies" coming from the North in this special Spring".
