The Light of Melody brings together famous voices on the world opera stage: Marcelo Álvarez, Kathryn Lewek and Joseph Calleja. In addition, the appearance of People's Artist Bui Cong Duy, conductor Tran Nhat Minh, Hanoi Symphony Orchestra, Phuong Nam Choir and Gio Xanh brings an impressive performance space, where top-notch singing techniques combined with deep emotions touch the hearts of listeners.

The audience is led through the historical journey of world opera with immortal works by Verdi, Puccini, Bellini, Giordano... Familiar arias like majestic, passionate, dramatic poems are brought to life by leading artists, not only through their voices but also through their deep understanding of structure, style, and unique handling.

Artist Joseph Calleja.
Joseph Calleja - a tenor from Malta is another bright star in that sound picture. With a warm, rich voice with a characteristic classical timbre, Calleja brings a close singing style, making it easy for listeners to feel the character's inner thoughts through Ah Tout et bien fini: Ô Souverain from opera Le Cid (Jules Massenet), Granada (Agustin Lara)...
In contrast to Álvarez's lyrical voice, Kathryn Lewek brought a magical touch with her bright, clear soprano and impressive pitch in her duet with Joseph Calleja in Caro Nome from the opera Rigoletto (Giuseppe Verdi), Sempre libera from the opera La Traviata (Giuseppe Verdi)...
Lewek takes the audience to seemingly impossible high notes without ever performing them dryly. Each time she sings, she skillfully blends precise technique with mesmerizing expression.

Marcelo Álvarez - one of the brightest names in contemporary opera with a powerful tenor voice, bright tone and delicate handling of each accent through a series of works La Milonga del trovador (Astor Piazzolla), Nessun Dorma from opera Turandot (Giacomo Puccini)...

In that musical setting, the Hanoi Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Tran Nhat Minh fulfilled the role of "storyteller", gently supporting the singers when needed and strongly leading when the music needed to break through.

People's Artist Bui Cong Duy with his sweet and delicate violin solo Je Veux Vivre from the opera Romeo and Juliet (Charles Gounod), Song to the Moon from the opera Rusalka (Antonin Dvorak) once again affirmed his position as a leading Vietnamese artist in classical music. The Phuong Nam Choir and Gio Xanh Choir played the role of a unified background, filling and resonating to complete the picture of sound.
