According to Gazzetta dello Sport, McTominay's success with Hojlund is the best guarantee they will continue to bring in the 20-year-old Englishman.

Mainoo hasn't been used much this season. He's mostly come on as a substitute, with a total of 138 minutes played in the 2025/26 Premier League.

Kobbie Mainoo requested a loan move at the end of the summer transfer window due to limited playing opportunities, but the club's management immediately refused.
