Mr. Ta 'Red Rain' and his wife tell the love story of the homeland in the MV 'Dating Phu Tho'

MV Hen Do Phu Tho is a music project that singer Phuong Thao has been nurturing for many months, as a tribute to her homeland, where she was born and raised. The work is elaborately invested in from lyrics, melody to images, expressing the artist's soul and pride of a child of the Hung King's homeland.

The song was composed by Phuong Thao at a special time, when the three provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, and Hoa Binh merged, opening up new development opportunities for the Northern midland region. With that feeling, it would normally be a grand melody, but Phuong Thao chose the profound Ca Tru material to portray the image of a Phu Tho that is both rustic and peaceful, yet innovative and youthful.

Phuong Thao shared: “I wrote 'Hen Ho Phu Tho' during the days when my homeland had many changes. In the quiet space, I suddenly heard the sound of festival drums, Xoan singing and watched the tea hills covered in morning mist. That feeling made me want to preserve it through music - so that everyone who listens can feel the pride, love and gratitude for their homeland.”

MV Phu Tho Date was conceived, written and directed by Phuong Thao herself. The MV takes the audience to visit many famous places imbued with Phu Tho's cultural identity such as Hung Lo Communal House, Long Coc Tea Hill, Hoa Binh Hydroelectric Plant, Tay Thien - Tam Dao,... Especially the image of Hung Temple - where the sacred spirit of mountains and rivers converges, spreads, becoming a spiritual support for the nation to enter a new era.

In particular, the MV has the special participation of actor Phuong Nam and his wife - who left an impression with the role of Squad Leader Ta in the movie Red Rain. This time, he and his wife Hai Yen, a former student of the Faculty of Television Directing, Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema, together perform a simple love story.

The MV "Phu Tho Date" attracted attention with the participation of actor Phuong Nam and his wife.

The entire production process was completed within a week in October, when the North was experiencing prolonged heavy rains. The film crew had to travel to many locations from Viet Tri to Hoa Binh and Vinh Phuc in harsh weather conditions. "We finally finished, it was like fulfilling a wish for our homeland after the merger," Phuong Thao said emotionally.

Singer Phuong Thao, real name Tran Thi Thuy, was born in Thanh Thuy, Phu Tho. Since childhood, she loved singing and actively participated in the school's arts movement. After graduating from high school, Phuong Thao attended Hanoi University of Culture, where she studied, worked as an MC, director, screenwriter and tried her hand at songwriting.

Despite being busy with her business, her passion for art still burns within her. She still spends time writing music, singing and carrying out her hometown music projects: Warm love of the midlands, Hat Mon - a thousand-year echo, Hoang Xa - a heroic spirit of ten thousand years, Remembering Thieu Tien, Thanh Thuy echoes forever in the golden history.
