Oriented to become a central core TOD model, combining underground traffic, public space and urban heritage.
This metro line will connect with lines 1, 3 and 5 in the future, forming a closed public transport network for the capital.
Xuan Dinh Depot - The first TOD model in Hanoi
The 11.3-hectare Xuan Dinh Depot is not only a maintenance, repair and operational training center, but is also planned according to the traffic-oriented urban model (TOD). This is the first TOD pilot site in Hanoi, combining transit, commerce, services and mixed housing, creating a new growth pole in the north of the city.
According to records, Xuan Dinh Depot area is currently in the stage of leveling and construction.

Impact on urban development
The implementation of Metro Line 2 will create a fundamental change in Hanoi's public transport, reduce pressure on the central area and effectively connect new development areas in the north. The TOD model at Xuan Dinh Depot will be a reference model for other transport-oriented urban projects in the future.
The project also contributes to the preservation of urban heritage by solving the problem of underground traffic through the old quarter without affecting the traditional architectural landscape.

Note: Project information may change according to planning adjustments during implementation. Technical data and progress should be updated from official sources.
