According to the Ministry of Health 's Infectious Disease Surveillance Management System, since the beginning of the year, Da Nang City has recorded 13 cases of COVID-19, of which 12 cases were detected in the 4 days of May 19-22. Although there have been no outbreaks or severe cases, the City's health sector has implemented many prevention solutions, ready to respond to the risk of an outbreak.

Mr. Nguyen Dai Vinh, Director of CDC Da Nang, said that district and commune health centers are required to closely monitor the epidemic situation, assess risks and implement appropriate response measures. Grassroots forces such as medical collaborators, residential groups, and local organizations are mobilized to promote communication, detect suspected cases early, and ensure effective control in the community.

The health sector also actively strengthens surveillance, monitors severe pneumonia cases suspected to be caused by the virus, and inspects disease prevention measures at facilities, businesses, and services in the area. Medical facilities are responsible for fully reporting cases to the Disease Surveillance System.

CDC Da Nang regularly updates information and recommendations on epidemic prevention on the fanpage "CDC Da Nang - epidemic prevention community", encouraging people to wear masks in public places, wash their hands regularly, limit crowded gatherings, monitor their health and go to medical facilities when having symptoms such as fever, cough, and difficulty breathing.

The City Health Department also requested units to monitor the epidemic situation at home and abroad, prepare treatment plans, ensure adequate supplies, medicine, human resources and medical equipment. During the peak summer tourist season, the risk of increased cases is real, so proactive epidemic prevention is an urgent requirement.

*According to the Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control (CDC), from the beginning of 2025 to now, the whole Khanh Hoa province has recorded 12 cases of COVID-19, with the main symptoms being cough, mild fever, sore throat and fatigue. All cases have fully recovered.

Although the number of cases is not large, in the context of changing seasons and high tourism density, Khanh Hoa's health sector has proactively developed two clear response plans to promptly control the situation.

According to Khanh Hoa CDC, the first option is applied in the situation where mild cases appear sporadically in the community. In this situation, local health forces will immediately coordinate with medical facilities and case recording points to strengthen epidemiological surveillance, closely monitor the health of patients , and quickly handle suspected cases, preventing outbreaks.

In the second option , when an outbreak occurs or the number of cases shows signs of increasing rapidly, Khanh Hoa CDC will immediately deploy specialized forces to the scene, carry out zoning, isolation, and epidemic suppression according to emergency procedures . At the same time, all cases of the disease will be strictly isolated to avoid cross-infection in the community , protecting vulnerable groups such as the elderly, people with underlying diseases, pregnant women, etc.

In addition to implementing two response plans, Khanh Hoa CDC also directed local medical facilities to proactively review and supplement medical supplies and equipment, ensure admission and treatment capacity , and improve emergency and intensive care capacity. Communication work was promoted through official channels to guide people on basic epidemic prevention measures , such as wearing masks in public places, washing hands with sanitizer regularly, eating nutritious foods, and proactively monitoring their health.

Although Hue City has not recorded any new COVID-19 cases, in the face of increasing epidemic developments in a number of countries, the provincial health sector has quickly reactivated the disease prevention and control system across the entire network.

The Hue City Department of Health has reviewed facilities that have treated COVID-19 patients, especially infectious disease treatment areas, hospital bed systems, isolation areas, medical oxygen, etc. to ensure readiness to resume operations if necessary. The city CDC has also prepared rapid tests, medicines and supplies to proactively isolate, quarantine and treat cases when they appear.

At Thuan Hoa District Medical Center, 2K measures (masks - disinfection) have been re-applied, the pediatrics - infectious disease treatment area has been activated. Meanwhile, Phu Vang District Medical Center has prepared 26 infectious disease treatment rooms, ready to arrange temporary treatment areas when necessary.

Hue Central Hospital also has a response plan according to the direction of the Ministry of Health. The COVID-19 Research and Treatment Center at Facility 2 is ready to resume operations with full structure as before.
