Launching a peak campaign to fight against and repel counterfeit goods in the fields of agriculture and environment

- Implementing Directive No. 13/CT-TTg dated May 17, 2025 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods in the new situation, the Department of Agriculture and Environment launched a peak period to fight against and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights in the fields of agriculture and environment.

Inspectors of the Department of Agriculture and Environment check seeds and materials at an agent in Yen Son town (Yen Son).

Accordingly, the industry will conduct surprise inspections of agricultural material production and trading activities of organizations and individuals according to the provisions of law; check the origin and source of goods; names of traded products according to the list issued by the State; labels of goods according to the State's regulations; announcement of product quality standards according to current regulations; check compliance with legal regulations and specialized instructions in the use of agricultural materials; quantify and quality of goods; take samples for testing and analysis; randomly sample agricultural material products in circulation on the market, focusing on products with high consumption and having a great impact on productivity and quality of agricultural production.

The implementation perspective is to inspect without any forbidden areas or exceptions for all organizations and individuals. If violations are detected, the industry will handle them in accordance with the law.
