Expanding the scope of those recognized in the "Sharing with Teachers" program.

On August 20th, in Hanoi , the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training and other units, held a press conference to announce the "Sharing with Teachers" program for 2024.

This is the 10th year of the "Sharing with Teachers" program, marking "10 years for a happy teaching and learning journey" with many practical and meaningful activities to honor teachers. According to the organizers, the teachers selected for commendation are those who have made significant contributions, created outstanding changes in the quality and effectiveness of education in their localities; and who have shown resilience and dedication to their profession.

Specifically, the program prioritizes teachers with many years of experience; young teachers who volunteer to teach in local areas; and teachers with outstanding achievements in their work. They must have at least three years of direct teaching experience.

According to Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union, this year the organizing committee has expanded the scope of teachers to be honored, to encourage teachers in many regions and working in various specialized fields, such as prison guards and correctional centers. In addition, this year, the journeys of gratitude and accompanying activities will be intensified.

From August to November, the program will launch a comprehensive, long-term campaign. Many influential figures in society (KOLs) will participate, such as Associate Professor Tran Thanh Nam, Miss H'Hen Niê, and Miss Luong Thuy Linh. The program also calls for the collective efforts of society to provide more practical and effective support for teachers.

The awards ceremony for the "Sharing with Teachers" program in 2024 is scheduled to be held on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, 2024, in Hanoi. Teachers who are honored will receive certificates of merit from the Ministry of Education and Training and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; commemorative medals; and savings accounts worth 10 million VND.

Within the framework of the program, there will be many activities such as the "Gratitude to Teachers - Sharing with Teachers" contest on the social media platform TikTok, organizing a journey to express gratitude to teachers in the three regions of the country, the "Journalism Sharing with Teachers" program, etc.
