To directly address these needs, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, in collaboration with the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese in Ho Chi Minh City, is organizing a talk show titled "Creating Opportunities for Overseas Vietnamese to Settle in Their Homeland" on Sunday afternoon, December 14, 2025, at the Waterpoint Urban Area (formerly Ben Luc, Long An ).
The organizers have arranged free shuttle service from the center of Ho Chi Minh City to facilitate the convenient participation of overseas Vietnamese.
Solutions to the "hot" issues facing overseas Vietnamese.
The talk show is expected to have around 200 attendees, including 100-150 overseas Vietnamese from various countries. This is an opportunity for overseas Vietnamese to engage in direct dialogue with leaders, government officials, and experts on the most pressing issues:
• Ownership rights to housing, land, and property upon returning to Vietnam.
• Transfer money, borrow funds, and manage assets remotely safely and conveniently.
• Choose the right housing, investment, and vacation model.
• Living environment, healthcare, and education for overseas Vietnamese families.
• Answering specific questions right at the event.
The program features the participation of:
• Leaders of the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Fatherland Front
• Legal, financial, healthcare, and housing expert
• Bank representatives provide financial solutions for people living abroad.
• Representatives from Nam Long Group - a partner and provider of housing solutions in integrated urban areas - a model that is attracting strong interest from overseas Vietnamese.
Waterpoint Food, Music and Urban Experience Festival
Following the panel discussion (1:30 PM - 3:30 PM), the program also includes activities such as a tour to experience the convenient and civilized living environment at Waterpoint urban area, networking opportunities between overseas Vietnamese, businesses, and experts; a culinary festival featuring cuisine from three regions of Vietnam; and a music event.
Overseas Vietnamese can participate in a culinary and musical exchange program from 4 PM to 7:30 PM in the riverside clubhouse at The Pearl subdivision of the Waterpoint urban area.
Waterpoint is a 355-hectare integrated riverside urban development along the Vam Co Dong River, developed by Nam Long and its Japanese partner. Following an integrated urban model, it offers an ecological, convenient, and multi-utility living environment, attracting the attention of many overseas Vietnamese considering long-term residency or investment for their families and relatives in Vietnam.

• 12:00 PM: Vehicles will pick up overseas Vietnamese at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (55 Mac Dinh Chi Street, District 1).
• 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Talkshow
• 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Gala Dinner - Entertainment - Networking
