MoMo launches contest to create content telling everyday stories

In addition to the title "The Next KOC" which helps spread influence widely on social networks, the champion of the contest will also receive 100 million VND in cash, a contract to become a Creative Partner of MoMo for 1 year and a contract to become a VJ intern at Schannel for 2 months. The contest lasts until April 29, 2024.

The Next KOC's theme - “Tell your everyday story with MoMo”

The contest, with the theme "Tell your life story with MoMo", is a playground for content creators to use the short video format on TikTok to tell life stories with the companionship of MoMo. Entries must contain authentic content, integrating the benefits of the features of the MoMo super app in a natural and meaningful way, contributing to bringing the MoMo brand closer to users as a daily financial assistant.

Choosing the theme of telling everyday stories, MoMo hopes to convey the spirit of "small things are great" that the brand has always believed in throughout its journey. From a humble starting point, MoMo has developed to what it is today thanks to listening to the small stories every day of tens of millions of Vietnamese people, thereby using technology to bring services and products towards a smart consumer lifestyle, helping the lives of Vietnamese people to be more equal in accessing financial services and more convenient and easier.

The contest has 3 criteria: "Visuality", "Brand" and "Creativity". In which, the Creativity criterion has the highest proportion (40%), requiring videos to have interesting content, easy-to-understand and easy-to-remember ideas, suitable for everyday stories, and cleverly integrating MoMo's product benefits. The Virality criterion, which accounts for 30%, will evaluate videos that have good virality on the TikTok platform based on the number of views and interactions. Without having to be famous before, on the TikTok platform, contestants can still get good scores in this criterion through excellent content. Finally, the Brand criterion (30%) evaluates the ability of the video to help viewers know and understand the benefits of the features on the MoMo super app in daily life.

To compete, contestants record and edit their entries based on a theme, then post their entries publicly on their personal TikTok pages with the hashtag #TheNextKOC. Every week, the organizers will update the Top 10 highest-scoring content creators of the week, which will be published on the show’s official website.
