The total rainfall in the months of May to July this year in the Southern and Central Highlands regions is forecast to be approximately equal to or higher than the average of many years, fluctuating between 90-112mm. In May alone, the rainfall in the Southern region may be 10%-20% higher than average. Therefore, this year's rainy season is forecast to last longer and end later than usual.

Experts warn that thunderstorms in the 2025 rainy season will not only cause inconvenience to daily life and traffic, but also pose many risks due to extreme weather phenomena. During thunderstorms, people need to be on guard against tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
