After a period of preparation, musician Khắc Hưng released the music video "Những đêm mùa hè" (Summer Nights) and his debut album "Người lạ trong mơ" (Stranger in a Dream). This product marks a turning point for him as he shifts his focus to a singing career.
Khắc Hưng's album consists of 10 songs that he composed himself, including Down to Earth, Stranger in a Dream, Into the Groove, Free Your Mind, Up to the Moon, Slower, Summer Nights, Limited Edition, and I'm Coming Home.

Appearing to support her junior colleague, My Tam said that she rarely attends entertainment events. However, this was a rare occasion when Khac Hung asked for her help, so the female singer immediately agreed. Khac Hung has helped My Tam many times before.
Speaking about her younger colleague, My Tam said: “Khac Hung has a great love for music . He also loves to sing and always wanted to one day express his feelings through his own compositions. My Tam clearly feels Khac Hung's love for singing in this album.”
My Tam further shared that Khac Hung had composed 10 songs for her own album a long time ago, and she thought those songs were very good. However, Khac Hung felt a little sad and decided to discard them all, changing them into 10 completely new, brighter songs.
My Tam has a close relationship with Khac Hung.
Speaking about his journey to becoming a singer, Khắc Hưng said: “I wouldn't dare say I trained to be a singer, just to sing. The vocal training process was very natural; I sang every day. I had the advantage of being exposed to many good singers, so I gradually absorbed and understood how to sing technically.”
I'm not confident that I'm the best singer, but I think at least I can sing technically well, and people will probably think this person sings pretty well too."
With this comeback, Khắc Hưng surprised everyone by deciding to release a music video depicting a love story between two men.
When asked if he was using a BL (Boys' Love) storyline to attract viewers, Khắc Hưng shared: “I don't call this BL, because I don't even know what BL is since I've never watched one. I simply released a music video about two male characters; a male-female couple wouldn't convey the same spirit as this music video.”
Khắc Hưng also said that he invested heavily in this project, choosing Italy and Greece as filming locations. Although the visa application process was very difficult, when he saw the images of this "brainchild," he felt it was all worthwhile.
Speaking about why he doesn't star in his own music videos, Khắc Hưng said he lacks self-confidence, both internally and externally.
"I'm afraid I won't be able to show my youthful energy because I'm bald, and I can't look young anymore. I also have a very large scar on my leg, so I can never wear shorts. I'm afraid that after the filming, people will stop liking me," he said humorously.
Following her junior's comment, My Tam quickly denied it and encouraged him to be more confident. The singer advised, "Hung, you are very handsome and you should know that. Don't think that the whole world thinks you're not handsome just because of one or two comments; you shouldn't be like that. You have to believe the applause you received; people don't judge you based on your appearance. Just be yourself, you don't need to have a fancy hairstyle because I liked your old one. You shouldn't be so insecure. You are very handsome and the most versatile artist I know."
Khắc Hưng has changed his image to a more modern and youthful one.
Speaking further about the title of singer, Khắc Hưng shared that he doesn't seek anything in his singing career and doesn't crave fame. "I'm not looking for anything special. If I craved fame and popularity, I would have pursued a singing career a long time ago. For me, serving music is the ultimate goal."
"I wanted to understand what it feels like to be a different person when you're no longer a musician. And as you can see, I get my makeup and hair done like this. But when I was a musician, I couldn't do that because it would steal all the attention from the singer," Khắc Hưng added.
