By 2025, the whole province strives to have at least 180 more OCOP products.

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program in 2025.

The program aims to upgrade, standardize, and complete at least 180 products with 3-4 stars at the district and provincial levels. In particular, the localities: Van Ninh, Ninh Hoa, Dien Khanh, Nha Trang, and Khanh Son are encouraged to have at least 2 products with 4 stars or more to ensure that there are at least 10 OCOP products recognized by the Provincial People's Committee with 4 stars, 1 of which has a score of 5 stars to be submitted to the Central Government for consideration and recognition. The total cost of implementing the program is more than 19 billion VND, of which nearly 15.8 billion VND is from the state budget, mainly used to directly support the subjects to complete and upgrade the products.

The Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments, branches and localities to focus on perfecting the management and operation system of the OCOP Program synchronously from the province to districts and communes; synchronously applying policies to effectively implement the program; supporting the upgrading, consolidation and development of products registered to participate in 2024 that have not yet achieved OCOP and products that have achieved 3-4 star OCOP to participate in the product upgrade assessment in 2025.

In addition, departments, branches and localities focus on supporting entities to develop forms of production and business organization in the direction of increasing benefits for the community, contributing to the development of the rural economy in the direction of endogenous development and increasing value; promoting trade promotion programs and promoting OCOP product brands; ensuring that the assessment of OCOP products in 2025 is carried out in the third and fourth quarters of this year...

Currently, the whole province has 309 OCOP products with 3 stars or more that are still valid for recognition. Of these, 1 OCOP product has achieved 5 national stars; 2 products have enough points to propose the Central Government to recognize 5-star OCOP; 43 products have achieved 4 stars; 263 products have achieved 3 stars.
