Comrade Nguyen Thanh Lam, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications chaired the Conference. Attending the Conference were more than 300 delegates who were leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications, the Border Guard Command, the Public Security of provinces and cities, along with reporters, editors of press agencies, and officers in charge of foreign information work of 63 provinces and centrally-run cities.

The conference disseminated a number of new points of Resolution No. 47/NQ-CP of the Government on the Government's Action Program to 2030 to implement Conclusion No. 57-KL/TW dated June 15, 2023 of the Politburo on continuing to improve the quality and effectiveness of foreign information work in the new situation; information on the current world and regional situation and Vietnam's foreign policy; guidance on communication to promote national and local images in a new way...
At the conference, delegates were also updated on communication experience in foreign and international press; building local brands in the overall development of national brands; applying digital technology to communication and promotion...
The training course is an opportunity for delegates to update on popular communication trends and technologies, thereby contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of foreign information work and promoting Vietnam's image in the new situation.
