Improve the spiritual and cultural life of women members

Developing the cultural, artistic and sports movement among women members, the provincial Women's Union at all levels has implemented many practical and specific activities. Thereby, creating a healthy and useful playground, contributing to improving the spiritual and cultural life of women, building the image of a new-age Vietnamese woman with good health to fulfill her responsibilities to herself, her family, society and the country.

Nam Dinh City Women's Union members performed a special performance at the conference to commend advanced models in the 2020-2025 period.

Implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress, term 2022-2027, the Provincial Women's Union identified physical training, improving spiritual life, and mobilizing women to take care of their health as one of the important tasks of the Union. To put the resolution into practice, the Provincial Women's Union has developed a plan and set a target of 100% of the Union's grassroots units regularly maintaining at least one type of activity to mobilize women to improve their health, moral qualities, knowledge, and skills; promoting cultural and artistic movements, physical training and sports among women of all classes in conjunction with the emulation movement "Building Nam Dinh women of the new era"; reviewing and evaluating the models and sports clubs currently operating, thereby selecting effective models suitable to the actual conditions of the locality and unit; encouraging the establishment of appropriate sports clubs operating in a self-managed and self-sufficient manner; Promote socialization, organize many programs and activities for clubs to perform, exchange and learn from each other... In addition, the Association at all levels regularly coordinates to organize sports competitions and exchanges such as: "Folk dance sports" competition, women's volleyball tournament, football tournament, rowing tournament... to celebrate important events, major national holidays, International Women's Day (March 8), Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20), creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, encouraging the spirit of training to improve health among female cadres and members, actively contributing to the construction of grassroots cultural life. On the occasion of the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2025), 100% of the Association's bases organized folk dance performances, cultural and sports activities; organized 101 communication sessions on health care; The role of women in family building..., attracted over 14 thousand female cadres and members to attend. The Provincial Women's Union organized the "Ao Dai Week" (from March 1 to 8) and awarded prizes for the online photo contest "Vietnamese Ao Dai - The beauty of Nam Dinh women" in 2025.

Not only for health training, the clubs are also places for the Association to propagate and mobilize members and people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Association. Typical Association bases in this activity include the Women's Unions of the districts: Hai Hau, Xuan Truong, Y Yen, Nam Truc, Nghia Hung and Nam Dinh city. The Women's Union of Nam Truc district has currently established and maintained over 200 cultural, artistic and sports clubs, attracting nearly 7,000 female members to participate. Paying attention to developing cultural, artistic and sports movements, establishing clubs, the District Women's Union has built many strong women's teams, especially in volleyball, swimming, volleyball for the elderly... participating in competitions and achieving many high achievements in tournaments organized by the district and province. Many clubs of communes and towns regularly organize unique cultural and artistic exchange activities such as: Hong Quang, Nam Cuong, Nam Thanh, Nam Giang town... Currently, 100% of the Women's Union bases of Nghia Hung district are effectively maintaining many models of clubs for health training, cultural and artistic activities including: sports dancing, yoga, aerobics, gym, health care, folk dancing, volleyball, football, folk music and singing... attracting tens of thousands of women to participate. The whole district has 6 women's volleyball teams. The teams and clubs maintain regular practice, organize exchanges, learn, and share experiences on holidays and Tet... Many clubs of communes and towns in the district such as: Nam Dien, Rang Dong, Phuc Thang, Nghia Lam, Lieu De, Nghia Thanh... regularly organize unique cultural and artistic exchange activities. In Nam Dinh city, the Women's Union at all levels is maintaining the regular activities of 76 "Tai Chi Truong Sinh" clubs and 185 folk dance clubs. On the occasion of the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day on March 8, all Women's Union units simultaneously organized folk dance performances, cultural and sports activities. Typical examples are the folk dance clubs of Nang Tinh, Truong Thi, Vi Xuyen wards... In Y Yen district, the Women's Union at all levels has selected at least one type of culture, art and sports to mobilize members to participate. The whole district has 251 folk dance, sports and health care groups, attracting 9,257 female cadres and members to participate. Many clubs of communes and towns regularly organize unique cultural and artistic exchange activities such as Lam town, Yen Khanh, Phu Hung, Yen Khang, Hong Quang communes... thereby creating solidarity, cohesion, exchange and learning between units.

Along with the sports and physical training movement, cultural and artistic activities are also being implemented by the Women's Union at all levels. Up to now, the whole province has maintained 40 types of cultural, artistic and sports clubs with over 1,000 clubs, attracting over 353,000 female members to participate. The "bright spot" in this activity is that the Women's Union at all levels has established many new modern clubs that are suitable for the needs and aspirations of the majority of women such as: dance, folk dance, volleyball, women playing and singing folk songs, aerobics, bodybuilding, badminton, cycling... Not only for health training, the clubs are also ideal places for the Women's Union to propagate and mobilize members and people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Union.

The extensive implementation of cultural, artistic and sports activities of the Women's Union at all levels is one of the effective ways to attract and gather members to participate in the activities of the Union; at the same time, it practically helps female cadres and members to improve their health and spiritual life, contributing to building the image of women in the new era, building an increasingly strong and comprehensive Union organization. In the coming time, the provincial Women's Union at all levels will continue to promote propaganda work, raise awareness for all levels of the Union and female members about the significance of maintaining cultural, artistic and sports activities, cultural, artistic and sports club and team models, gradually developing the movement more and more deeply. Organize many exchange activities between communes, towns, districts and cities to help clubs and women have a useful and healthy playground, promoting their talents and strengths. Socialize cultural, artistic and sports activities, mobilize the cooperation and contributions of units, organizations, individuals and people, thereby having sustainable funding to maintain the movement.
