Improve the efficiency of inspection and supervision of electricity purchase and sale in 2024

The inspection and supervision of electricity purchase and sale (KTGSMBĐ) is one of the important solutions to reduce electricity loss and ensure electrical safety. Strengthening training and professional development for the staff directly performing the task is an important key to effectively implementing this work.

Overview of the seminar on inspection and supervision of electricity purchase and sale in 2024.

The inspection and supervision of electricity purchase and sale is closely linked to electricity business activities and is also one of the five key tasks that the Party Committee of Thanh Hoa Electricity Company has included in the Resolution to strive to implement annually. By the end of 2023, through the KTGSMBĐ activities, 160,272 electricity customers were inspected, 7,117 cases were detected and handled, 4,440,348 million kWh were collected and compensated, contributing to reducing the total electricity loss of the company by -0.24% compared to 2022; 71,511 customers were inspected for prices...

Also in 2023, the Company's KTGSMBĐ Department chaired the organization of 7 rounds with 60 inspections, focusing on in-depth inspections on each topic, re-inspection, and supervision with 6 main contents; organized professional training and quality assessment after training for more than 200 trainees...

To continue improving operational efficiency, on March 29, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company organized a seminar on "Inspection and supervision of electricity purchase and sale in 2024" for the entire inspection and supervision team of electricity purchase and sale of 24 affiliated power units.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hai, Deputy Head of Business Department of Northern Power Corporation and Mr. Hoang Hai, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Power Company co-chaired the discussion.

At the seminar, chaired by representatives of the Northern Power Corporation's Business Department and leaders of Thanh Hoa Power Company, representatives of the units gave their opinions and raised difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process to discuss solutions. Accordingly, the issues raised mainly focused on aspects of work such as: screening and analyzing customers at risk of violations causing losses in electricity prices; organizing inspection, control, and handling of customers violating electricity prices; inspecting, controlling, and handling electricity collection due to damage to metering equipment; planning, implementing inspection and monitoring according to the targets assigned by the Company to the units; analyzing and identifying commercial losses...

Participating in the seminar, the staff directly involved in the KTGSMBĐ work had the opportunity to discuss and exchange experiences, some difficulties and problems in practice when doing the work of inspecting, supervising electricity trading, and handling administrative violations. Representatives of the Business Department of the Northern Power Corporation and leaders of Thanh Hoa Power Company answered and guided in detail and fully the contents related to the KTGSMBĐ work to apply effectively in practice, helping the work of inspecting and supervising electricity trading to achieve high results in the coming time.
