On the afternoon of April 17, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association held a training conference for Vietnamese Student Association officials abroad in 2023. This is the first time the conference has been held online at 115 locations around the world for 4 days.

According to statistics, currently, the Vietnam Student Association has 28 provincial-level Associations, 45 school-level Associations directly under the Central Government and 13 Associations abroad, with a total of more than 1.3 million members.
Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet said that in recent times, Vietnamese Student Association organizations abroad have grown remarkably, highlighting their role as close and trustworthy companions of students.
This is demonstrated through many movements and activities that strongly promote the intelligence, enthusiasm and pioneering spirit of students. In particular, many activities have had profound ideas, have had a great and positive influence on students, contributing to gathering and uniting the community of Vietnamese students studying abroad.
2023 is the year of the Student Association Congresses at all levels, towards the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Student Association, term 2023-2028. Therefore, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association organizes the Conference to provide knowledge and information about the Association organization, solutions to develop the "5 Good Students" movement in the foreign context.
Along with that, the Conference will contribute practically in providing more skills and expertise in the work of the Association and student movements as well as skills in organizing Student Association Congresses at all levels, updating more information related to digital transformation in the work of the Association and student movements.
The conference will take place online on April 17, 20, 24 and 27. At the conference, speakers will present and share a number of key topics on the Association's professional work, office work, digital transformation and issues affecting the student movement.
In addition, the Conference is also an opportunity for Vietnamese Student Association officials around the world to exchange and share difficulties and obstacles in the process of operation; discuss and share good practices and effective methods to help the Association's work and the Vietnamese student movement abroad develop further.
