Russia accuses Ukraine of launching 10 cruise missiles that damaged the port city of Sevastopol in Crimea.

Russia stated that the missile attack on Crimea on the morning of September 13th destroyed several of Moscow's warships and injured more than 20 people.

Sharing on Telegram, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that Ukraine attacked the Sevastopol shipyard in Crimea with 10 cruise missiles and 3 speedboats.

According to the ministry, Russian air defenses shot down seven cruise missiles, while Russian patrol boats destroyed all of Ukraine's speedboats.

In addition, the attack damaged two Russian warships that were awaiting repairs.

Earlier that day, Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Russian-appointed governor of the port city of Sevastopol, claimed that Ukraine had launched missiles at Sevastopol in Crimea on September 13, forcing Moscow to deploy multiple air defense systems to repel the attack.

According to Razvozhayev, the attack caused a fire at a non-civilian facility and injured at least 24 people.

Ukraine has not yet commented on the information.
