On June 2, in a post on the Telegram channel, Mariupol Mayor Petro Andriushchenko said that Russia is transporting concrete pyramid-shaped anti-tank structures, known as "dragon teeth", through the city of Mariupol to the town of Rozivka, Zaporizhzhia region.

“Russia is transporting a mass of ‘dragon teeth’ in the direction of Rozhivka, towards the Polohy region,” the official wrote, publishing a photo and video of the transport of these defensive structures.

Since the explosions in Mariupol have become more frequent, Russia has stepped up fortifications around the city. Moscow is turning Mariupol and the surrounding villages into a logistics center for the military.

Regarding the provision of weapons to Kiev, the US affirmed that providing F-16 aircraft to Ukraine is not only considered as equipping the Eastern European country with new modern weapons systems but also strengthening the country's air force in the long term.

"This is really about helping the Ukrainian air force become a more modern, more capable air force in the long term," John Kirby, the National Security Council's coordinator for strategic communications, said at a briefing on June 2.

Previously, the Office of the President of Ukraine announced that the "alliance to supply fighter aircraft" to Ukraine had 8 international partners.
