Vietnam National Day Worldwide

The program of the Global Vietnamese National Ancestor Day - Ancestor Commemoration Ceremony and Honoring the Descendants of the Hung Kings Worldwide 2024 with the theme "Peace - Ancestors' Last Wish" will be held at 8:00 p.m. (Vietnam time), the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month (April 18th of the solar calendar), in person and online, with the participation of overseas Vietnamese from nearly 50 countries.

This is a cultural event of special significance, not only for the Vietnamese community living, studying, researching and working abroad, but also for international friends who love Vietnam.

The program has been maintained and organized annually by the Global Vietnam National Day Project Board according to a common scenario (from 2015 to present), aiming to create a common cultural day - connecting Vietnamese people around the world and international friends, building a solid cultural "bridge" of friendship, building sincere friendship between Vietnam and international friends.

The program of the Global Vietnamese Ancestral Day - Ancestor Commemoration Ceremony and Honoring the Descendants of the Hung Kings Worldwide 2024 will take place live in Saint Petersburg, the Russian Federation and be broadcast online on many social networking platforms and media channels for the public to follow, including the Global Vietnamese Ancestral Day Fanpage (https://www.facebook.com/quoctovietnamtoancau).

The program includes main activities:

(1) Coordinate with the Vietnamese Community in Saint Petersburg and the Ho Chi Minh Institute, Saint Petersburg State University, Russian Federation to organize the key program in 2024 and burn incense to offer the death anniversary of the Hung Kings in the countries where the Project Board has placed the statue of King Hung;

(2) In coordination with the Foreign Information Department, the Vietnamese Community in Saint Petersburg organized a Happy Vietnam photo exhibition in the Russian Federation;

(3) Cooperate with the Berlin-Gesundbrunnen Academy of Music (Germany) to premiere the song Song of Peace;

(4) Coordinate with organizations to introduce the Global Vietnam National Day Project at the Influential Vietnamese Forum in Paris (March 2024); in Poland (April 2024); in Rome, Italy (April 2024).

Continuing the success of 9 years of organization, this year, the Global Vietnam National Ancestral Day Project continues to ignite the spirit of compatriots, ignite the flame of lac hong, ignite gratitude to ancestors and origins - that is the national filial piety of the Vietnamese people!

That national filial piety has created an indomitable spiritual strength that has been passed down from generation to generation, helping the Vietnamese people to always overcome all adversities, continue to build a solid cultural "bridge", build sincere friendships, promote peaceful friendly relations between Vietnam and international friends, together spreading and positioning the cultural values ​​and morals of the Vietnamese people in the respect and honor of the values ​​and morals of other peoples/countries around the world.
