Trung Son and Vinh An pottery villages (Pho Khanh commune) are located next to An Khe freshwater lagoon and in the core area of Sa Huynh cultural heritage, formed more than 300 years ago. The activities of this handmade pottery village are a link in the crafting tradition from Sa Huynh culture to modern times.
Pottery makers in Vinh An village still preserve the traditional pottery making techniques of Sa Huynh culture in the following stages: preparing the soil, creating the shape with hand-molding techniques combined with slow turning tables, and firing the pottery products in a manual kiln using herbs as raw materials.
