Artists attend Pho Day: Enchanted by stalls selling handmade pho noodles.

The artists had a delightful experience seeing and enjoying steaming bowls of pho from famous pho brands across Vietnam.

Miss H'Hen Niê, photographer Tuấn Khôi, runner-up Vũ Linh, MC Quỳnh Hoa, and other artists from the Ho Chi Minh City Artists Volunteer Team were excited to attend the opening ceremony of Pho Day 2025.

The smell of pho makes me hungry and want to eat it right away.

MC Quynh Hoa - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural Center, and team leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Artist Volunteer Team - along with team members, went around to the stalls, learning about the pho stalls.

MC Quynh Hoa said that she has eaten pho at many famous restaurants, but on Pho Day she felt she knew nothing about pho, because there were many special pho stalls that she was unfamiliar with.

She recounted: “Thanks to Tuoi Tre newspaper, Quynh Hoa learned more about pho. With the same ingredients and spices, each pho restaurant creates its own unique flavor, with many new innovations. Hoa has tasted cassava pho, and she will definitely return to eat pho from Gia Lai, pho from Nam Dinh , and other pho dishes.”

The entire family of MC Quynh Hoa loves pho, especially her mother. MC Quynh Hoa's family rents out space to open a pho restaurant, so they often come down to "eat for free."

"This morning, attending the opening ceremony of Pho Day , the aroma of pho made me hungry and want to eat it right away. Just smelling pho made me crave it," MC Quynh Hoa confessed.

Quynh Hoa suggested: "The pho stalls should serve mini bowls so that customers can sample different types of pho, because now customers can't eat at two different stalls anymore."

" Pho Day 2025 will be held in a central location, very convenient for locals and tourists to come and enjoy."

Artist Tuyet Thu arrived at Pho Day early in the morning. She walked around observing the pho stalls and exclaimed, "It's so tempting, I want to try it at every stall!"

“On December 13th and 14th, Thu had to come back to enjoy many different types of pho with unique flavors. Thu especially enjoyed the stalls where the pho noodles were prepared and cut manually – it was very interesting and appealing.”

"Thu is fascinated by pho because each stall has its own unique flavor, and one of the most unusual is Que Son cassava pho. The pho noodles are like a beautiful mesh, chewy and delicious. The flavor is unusual but delicious," Tuyet Thu told Tuoi Tre Online .

She expressed her gratitude to Tuoi Tre newspaper for organizing the grand Pho Day , which attracted a large crowd. The price of 40,000 VND per bowl was cheaper than the average, allowing people to enjoy many different pho flavors at one location. "I like all the pho dishes, because I'm a big eater," artist Tuyet Thu enthusiastically shared.

Meanwhile, MC Hai Sido expressed surprise that nearly 30 pho restaurants were present at Pho Day . Many of them were from provinces in Northern Vietnam.

He said that many of his friends and relatives are big fans of pho, and whenever they go on tours or travel anywhere, they always prioritize eating pho.

"It's so exciting to come here and see these famous pho restaurants firsthand. I just need to walk around and I can enjoy my favorite pho. The pho is delicious and easy to eat," said MC Quoc Binh. After visiting and enjoying the food, he even bought some pho to take home.

Miss H'Hen Niê joins the kitchen to serve pho.

4th Runner-up of Manhunt International 2025 , Vu Linh, was present at Pho Day on the morning of December 13th . He took a stroll around and visited the pho stalls. Vu Linh stopped at the Ngoc Vuong Hanoi pho stall.

"Linh feels that the pho noodles are soft and delicious, the broth is rich yet retains its characteristic lightness. For Linh, a delicious bowl of pho cannot be without accompanying vegetables, a little bean sprouts and some chili sauce, to make the flavor even more complete. Pho is not just a dish but also represents the close-knit culture of the Vietnamese people. Linh hopes that pho will spread to all parts of the country and to international friends, so that many people can enjoy this special flavor," - Vu Linh shared.

Meanwhile, Miss H'Hen Niê rolled up her sleeves to help serve pho to customers at the festival. She is planning to cook pho for her fellow villagers back home. H'Hen Niê and her family are big fans of pho.

The Pho Day 12-12 program, now in its 9th year with the theme "Elevating Vietnamese Rice - Spreading Across Five Continents," will take place over two days, December 13th and 14th, at the former Tax Department Store area, 135 Nguyen Hue Street, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

The program features nearly 30 famous and unique pho brands from North to South Vietnam, showcasing a diverse range of pho dishes reflecting the characteristics of different regions and local cultures.

With a price of 40,000 VND per bowl, the Pho Day festival on December 12, 2025, is expected to serve more than 20,000 servings over two days. The organizers will donate at least 10% of the pho sales revenue to the "Pho of Love" program, cooking and serving pho to people in the flood-stricken areas of Dak Lak province (formerly Phu Yen), which recently suffered damage from natural disasters.

The Pho Day 12-12 program is supported and coordinated by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Trade Promotion - Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, and the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association, with the diamond partnership of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company for many years, and this year with the additional support of Ho Chi Minh City Development Commercial Bank (HDBank), Cholimex Food Joint Stock Company, Saigon Trading Corporation Limited (SATRA), Suntory Pepsico Beverage Company Limited, etc.
