Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau inspected the actual situation at some locations of the proposed high-speed route connecting Hai Duong province with Hai Phong city at km 23+500, National Highway 10 (Hai Phong city), km 21+330 National Highway 17B, Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park, km 6+500 Provincial Road 390B, Bui Thi Xuan bridgehead on Hai Duong city side.
The planned investment plan for the axis road connecting the administrative center of Hai Duong province with the administrative center of Hai Phong city has the starting point (km 0) at the intersection of Hai Duong city's beltway I and the approach road to Bui Thi Xuan bridge according to the planning, in Tien Tien commune, Hai Duong city. The end point (km 23) is at the intersection of National Highway 10 with the road to An Duong industrial park and Nguyen Truong To street (WB street), in An Duong district, Hai Phong city. The route runs in the East-West direction, through Hai Duong city, Thanh Ha district, Kim Thanh (Hai Duong) and An Duong district (Hai Phong city) with a total length of about 23.5 km.
The project scope is expected to be approximately 20 km in Hai Duong province; the project scope in Hai Phong city is approximately 3.5 km. The proposed scale is the main urban axis of the new city meeting high-speed road standards (grade I road standards, high-speed design with a speed of 100 km/h), with the integration of a future double-gauge, 2-way urban railway line. Different-level intersections, entrances and exits at interconnecting intersections according to the needs of each area. There are 2 proposed cross-section options, option 1 with a total width of 120 m, option 2 is 68 m.
Through the inspection, the Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee requested to study the most optimal route plan, the best connection, reduce the volume of land clearance, minimize the impact on residential areas, and maximize the development of land funds on both sides of the road...
Emphasizing the importance of the Project to build a high-speed route connecting Hai Duong province with Hai Phong city, the Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee directed that the survey work needs to be conducted in detail on the type of land, the origin of the land, comparing the options to select the most optimal option, ensuring efficiency and sustainability when implementing. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to organize a field survey and select a route option. The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board will establish an investment plan. The survey work on the route will be completed within 15 days.
Also on the afternoon of April 26, comrade Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the Project to Upgrade Provincial Road 390B and build a new section to avoid the center of Thanh Ha town, Thanh Ha district and the Project to Renovate and Upgrade the Extended Provincial Road 396 (the section connecting from Provincial Road 391 to Provincial Road 390).
