According to Mr. Chung, the lucky fisherman who caught the giant grouper was Mr. Ho Viet Ky, residing in Tan Tien block, Quynh Phuong ward, Hoang Mai town.

Accordingly, a few days ago, a fishing boat while casting its net in the open sea discovered a large grouper caught in its net. After spending a lot of effort to bring the grouper onto the boat and back to shore, Mr. Ky and many others weighed and determined the weight of the fish to be nearly 70 kg.

According to local fishermen who have been at sea for many years, they have never caught a grouper that big before.

The fish has now been bought by a local trader for 14 million VND.
