Many predict that President Biden will face a rematch in November 2024 with former President Donald Trump, who is leading the Republican nomination.
Americans see the economy , crime and immigration as the biggest problems facing the country, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll — topics that Mr. Trump and Republicans have used to criticize President Biden.
Nineteen percent of respondents ranked the economy as the top issue, while 11% cited immigration and 10% highlighted the risk of crime.
President Biden's public approval rating has remained below 50% since August 2021, and this month's polling is close to his lowest point of his presidency, 36%, recorded in mid-2022.
