Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang (Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City) said that she and her husband took leave and went to Viet Nam Quoc Tu Pagoda at 8am.

"Our family is Buddhist, so we are very happy to wait to worship the heart of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc. My house is also right on Thich Quang Duc street. When our child was young, I often told him about the virtue and peace of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc when he burned himself to protect the truth of Buddhism," said Ms. Trang.

According to the organizers, the ceremony to worship the relics of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc at Vietnam National Pagoda (No. 242-244, 3/2 Street, Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City) will start from 2:00 p.m. on May 6 to 10 (from April 9 to 13, At Ty year).

Monks, nuns, Buddhists and people pay homage to the heart relic of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc from the afternoon of May 3 to 10. Morning from 8:00 to 11:00. Afternoon from 1:30 to 5:30.

According to Giac Ngo Online, the announcement of Venerable Thich Le Trang - Vice President of the Executive Council, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ho Chi Minh City, Vice President of the Organizing Committee of the United Nations Vesak 2025 - stated:

"Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc self-immolated on June 11, 1963 at the intersection of Le Van Duyet and Phan Dinh Phung, Saigon (now the intersection of Cach Mang Thang Tam - Nguyen Dinh Chieu streets, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) leaving behind an immortal heart relic, symbolizing the spirit of compassion and wisdom of Buddhism and the tradition of the Vietnamese people".

Previously, the invitation, enshrinement and worship of the heart relic of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc was scheduled to take place on May 3 but was postponed.
