On the evening of January 25 (the first day of the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday), Hanoians' shopping demand increased dramatically, and some supermarkets were always crowded.

"I want all members to be able to choose Tet items in one shopping trip," said Mr. Dat, holding a bill that was more than 2 meters long.

Meanwhile, holding a receipt with a purchase value of nearly 25 million VND in hand, Ms. Hanh (Hai Ba Trung district) said this was her 4th Tet shopping trip.

"I've bought it three times and it's still not enough. Now I have to buy more gifts for relatives and partners," said Ms. Hanh.
